Shri Ram/Rama/Ramachandra Swamy was a king of ayodhya. He is 7th avatar of vishnu. Ramji's Birthday and marriage day are same and celebrated as Shriramanavami. Celebrated on Chaitramasa suklapaksha navami day every year in different parts of India. A temple is constrcuted by a great Devotee of Rama Kancherla Gopanna later called as Bhadrachala Ramadasu. He is a carnatic composer he composed lot many songs on Rama. This temple has been constructed on the hill of Bhadradri, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District in Andhrapradesh, India. "Sree sitarama kalyana mahotsavam" is celebrated every year at this temple with a great devotion. Lakhs of devotees visit this temple every year particularly on this occation. A special prasadam called Panakam( Prepared with water, Jaggary, Pepper powder and Cardamom powder) and Vadapappu( Soaked moong Dal) is prepared as prasadam to god and served to every devotee in that occation.
